What Is Adrian Dix Hiding?

Adrian Dix is trying to hide behind a political makeover – but he can’t hide the facts. When Adrian Dix was the “top political advisor” to the NDP government in the 1990s:

  • Under Adrian Dix and the NDP, British Columbia had the highest marginal income tax rates in Canada and one of the highest in North America – today, Dix is again stating that he intends to raise personal income taxes to pay for back-of-the-napkin spending promises.
  • Under the NDP, BC was dead last in job growth in Canada, economic chaos reigned while the rest of North America boomed and 50,000 people left B.C. in search of work.
  • Dix and the NDP’s economic record speaks for itself: BC became a “have-not” province, investment tanked and we lagged far behind Canada in economic growth – a record that Dix himself has said he is proud of.
  • While Glen Clark’s Chief of Staff, Adrian Dix knowingly backdated an official memo with the intention of insulating Clark from a RCMP investigation. Soon after, Dix was fired and collected $70,000 in severance.
